Liza returns to Blood from a Turnip at Firehouse Theater to debut her original performance piece, “Ev’ry Time”.

“Ev’ry Time” is a multimedia exploration of ancestry and how memory shifts, fades, and solidifies over the passing of time. Using sculptural costuming, shadow puppetry, original audio recordings, and song, Liza invites the viewer to travel with her to explore the life of her great-grandmother, Betsy James.
